This summer was interesting, to say the least. I took summer school online and had family plans get canceled. This did allow me to have more time to do more by myself. With the extra time I did more of what I wanted over the break. This year I am excited to create and build for the projects we have coming. This year in general I am excited to see what we do and how.

Currently the brainstorming and researching for the project is going well. Something difficult about the project was coming up with solution ideas, but since we aren't supposed to do that yet we haven't really focused on it. A problem I anticipate with the project would be creating the solution and putting our ideas into action.

Currently I am almost done with the UC applications, and I am partly into the application for other schools.

The image shows how I have felt over the week. I have been waiting for many things, and have been working late into the night almost every day of this week. I would say this describes my state because I feel tired and have been doing a lot more work this week than others. I also thought that the image was amusing.

Something I wish I knew about the college apps would be that they shouldn't be rushed and should be started early. Advise I would give to future seniors is to plan ahead and make sure that they would have the time they need to finish their apps, so that they don't rush it all at the end. The most exciting thing about college is the experiences that I will have there and the people I will meet.

The difference between a product made for profit and one made to help people is what the benchmark for the product would be. A product for profit would try to optimize the money it makes. A product that is made to help people would instead try to prioritize it's usefulness.

A product that is made for profit will make usually make a lot of money, while a non profit product will be more liked by the consumer since it is more consumer focused. An example of each would be medicine for deadly diseases is made more so with the idea of saving people, while a new phone is something that aims to make money.

1. My biggest challenge so far with this engineering project is making time to get everything done alongside all of my other classwork.

What are you most proud of so far? So far in this project I am most proud of

2.  If you could give advice to future seniors in the capstone class what advice would you give them regarding the capstone project? Advice I would give to future seniors in the capstone class would be to take time when doing your work to insure your project/product is as high quality and useful as you want it to be.

Next year I will be going to SMC as part of a transfer agreement with Loyola Marymount University. Over summer I will have to take one class in order to make the agreement.

In my PLTW career I am most proud of the people I have helped in class and the projects that I have gotten to do.
